Demi Lovato (born Demetria Devonne Lovato in August 20, 1992) is an American actress and singer-songwriter. She is best known for her roles as Mitchie Torres in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Camp Rock and its upcoming sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, and as Sonny Munroe in Sonny With a Chance. As a solo musical artist, Lovato released her debut album Don't Forget on September 23, 2008. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 selling over 89,000 copies in the first week. Lovato released her second album, Here We Go Again, on July 21, 2009.^[3] The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 selling over 108,000 copies in the first week.

Lovato was born in Dallas, Texas^[1] to Patrick Lovato and Dianna Bonheur Hart De La Garza. She has an older sister, Dallas, and a younger half sister, Madison De La Garza.^[1] Her mother was a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader and country recording artist; her father moved to New Mexico after their marriage ended in 1994. Lovato is of Mexican, Italian, and Irish ancestry.

Lovato began her acting career at the age of seven on the children's television series Barney & Friends as Angela, appearing in seasons seven and eight alongside long time friend Selena Gomez.

Drew: When I was younger, we had a roller skating rink by our house and I took a date rollerskating because I thought it was cool. I was trying all these moves, like these over-the-foot moves, because I wanted to impress her...and I wiped out so many times! She thought I was just sad. She was out-skating me so bad. Andrew: (on his weirdest fan moment) It's all kinda weird for me, but in Tampa my mom came to see our concert so instead of leaving on busses with the rest of the cast, my mom drove me home. And, being a proud mom, she rolled down the window and yelled "Hey everybody! Look! It's my son Drew, the High School Musical concert star!" So many fans and moms ran out into the street and surrounded our van that, when the light turned green, we couldn't go without running people over. I felt like one of The Beatles.

Andrew: (about his greatest accomplishment in his career) Deciding to just up and move to California. I had no family or friends out there, and hadn’t finished school yet, but I just got this feeling in my bones that it was time to jump – so I did. And in this past year I’ve shot four movies, gotten a development deal with Last Man Standing, and written and recorded dozens of songs. Drew (about the HSM concert): The first place we played in Bueno Aires, we sold out two nights in a row. We were like the Beatles. It was nuts.

Andrew: Well, I have a tremendous amount of respect for any musician, because I know how hard it is. But I especially respect an artist who writes and produces their own material, and has a hand in how it’s marketed. "Before I was legally allowed a driving license, I used to drive my Dad's car up and down the driveway. One day my foot slipped on the brake and the car went smashing straight into the gate at the bottom of the drive! The car door was dented and it wouldn't open. I was really scared and then to make matters worse, I looked up and saw my younger brother running off to tell my parents! Luckily my Dad was pretty understanding, But I still had to clean the house for months afterwards though!".

"Shane and I share a room when we're on the road. We were in Birmingham and I had the bed by the wall and Shane's bed was on my right next to the window. I woke up in the middle of the night and looked over and Shane's bed had disappeared. All I could see was the window! I couldn't figure out what was going on, then all of a sudden I felt an arm on my shoulder. I froze and slowly looked around and I realized I was in Shane's bed and he had his arm draped over me!  When Kian was 12, he was really into rock music and he grew his hair. "I used to wear a bandana too - just like Axel Rose!” he says.
 Shane's family has 40 horses. They all have the first name of Carlton after the family restaurant. Shane's favorite is called Carlton Flight.
 Westlife are in the process of hiring a security guard. It's getting to the stage where the band are getting lots of attention and obviously need some extra help to keep all the fans at arms length!
 Kian refuses to ditch his battered old Ford Fiesta! The heartthrob's been spotted in his hometown of Sligo at the wheel of his 198. Kian insists he won't be swapping it for a flashy BMW because he'd probably smash it up! "I don't care what people think. I'm learning to drive so there's no point in buying a BMW. I've already bashed the Fiesta on the gateposts at home!"
 Those Westlife lads enjoy nothing better than a hearty breakfast in the morning. Nicky and Bryan explain. Bryan: "I always have a proper breakfast. Usually I have a bowl of All Bran every morning but Nicky has a cooked breakfast every day. Nicky: "I hate cereal. I like it sometimes but it can make me feel ill. Ideally if we're not in a rush I'll have a fry-up. The full works - black pudding, white pudding.... It’s like black pudding except it's white! Bryan: "Yeah, we have all races of pudding in Ireland!"
 Shane hates when women wear panty hose and open toed shoes. Also when people wear white socks and black shoes although he admits to doing it when he thought he was Michael Jacksom
 When Westlife were on a recent trip to Australia, one of the first places they visited was the set of Home and Away. Although Shane was very excited, Nicky wasn't that impressed because he's a devoted Neighbors fan!
 Mariah Carey loves Westlife and wants to record a song with them!
 When Westlife were filming the video for Seasons in the Sun, Bryan had a little accident with a hose! "I'd just got made-up when I picked up this hose that we used to make the rain. I was just looking at it when it went off right in my face! I stood there with make-up running down my face and my clothes were ruined because there was make-up all over them. Everyone went mad, but I just stood there laughing"
 Have you ever wondered what that large jeweled thing is that Nicky sometimes wears around his waist? Well it's called an 'Obi sash' and it's actually a classic Japanese sash originally intended to hold up kimonos!
 Kian loves buying aftershave. Apparently his favorites are Jean-Paul Gaultier, Polo Sport and Joop.
 Bryan once smashed up a hotel wardrobe whilst he was wrestling with the other lads, but luckily they got away with it!
 Kian loves clothes and never leaves the house unless he's looking 100% perfect. He even lays his clothes out the night before to make sure everything "goes".
 When Bryan was 12, he broke his nose playing football. Apparently he performed a dodgy tackle on another player who then came after him and bopped him!

 If young Nicky hadn't joined Westlife, he'd have been a policeman! He'd passed his exams and was just about to sign up when he found out that he was going to be in the group.
 Whilst Mark's dead proud to be from Ireland, he apparently hates having an Irish accent. He thinks that it makes him sound like a farmer!
 One of the lad’s favorite insults for each other is "Shut up you Deutz". Deutz is Irish for stupid.
 Mark used to have a crush on Kristy Wright who played Chloe in the Australian soap Home and Away. He was totally bonkers about her for years!
 Kian hates having to wear make-up for photoshoots. He reckons it clogs up his pores!
 You won't catch Nicky wearing saggy old Y-fronts under his trousers. The snappy dresser won't wear anything other than Calvin Klein.
 Shane never goes to bed without saying his prayers. He tries to go to church on Sundays too. "If I miss a week, I feel really bad" he reveals.
 Kian loves playing the piano. He got up to grade eight in his exams and reckons that if he weren’t in the band he'd be a piano teacher.
 Westlife sometimes don't get the chance to do their hair in the mornings, but they have developed a great trick to hide that! They just stick on a baseball cap!
 Despite being dead famous, the lads have managed to keep their feet firmly on the ground. "Every couple of weeks we have a chat and make sure everyone is still grounded and that no one's got any problems" reveals Nicky.
 Mark loves scaring himself by listening to ghost stories and easily gets worked up about spooky happenings. Once he even convinced himself that his granny's cat, Snowy was going to come back from the dead and haunt him - but it never did.
 On their recent tour of America, the lads lost some of their belongings at New York's JFK airport. Fans that stole jackets, bags, rings and even clumps of Bryan’s hair besieged them! Scary!
 Bryan says he'll only be famous when he has five Ferrari's, seven houses, Cameron Diaz on his arm and a little man following him around with a huge bag of money.
 When Kian broke up with his first serious girlfriend, he was gutted. The night he split up with her, he went to a club and ended up spending the night slumped in a corner crying his eyes out.
 When Nicky was 17 and living in Leeds, he went round loads of nightclubs with three other Irish friends pretending they were members of OTT and were best mates with Boyzone! Cheeky!

WESTLIFE FACTS 1

 Bryan used to be a bit of a bully as a young lad! Don't  worry though - he was only acting! He played the school hard nut in an Irish TV series called Finarr's Class and had to pretend to beat people up!
 Although Mark loves living a pop star lifestyle, he reckons the idea of being really famous scares him to death!
 Nicky drives a Peaugot 306 convertible, which he got for a really good price with the help of Ronan.
 Westlife share the same stylist as the Spice Girls and David Beckham. His name is Kenny Ho.
 Before Nicky joined Westlife, he was a budding TV presenter. He went for lots of auditions and would love to have his own show one day.
 Bryan went to the same school as Mikey from Boyzone.
 Nicky's a really romantic lad at heart. He once flew home and hid in his girlfriend’s room to surprise her!
 Before he joined Westlife, Shane used to help out with the cooking and washing up in his parent’s restaurant in Ireland.
 Mark's absolutely terrified of birds.
 Ronan look alike, Nicky, once impersonated the man himself at a gig to get backstage. When the real Mr. Keating tried to get backstage, he couldn't because the security guards thought they'd already let the real Ronan through!
 Bryan used to be a huge fan of Superman comics. His Mum has still got his Superman duvet cover ironed and waiting for him when he visits.
 The band's co-manager, Louis Walsh, has given each of the lads a Spice name, which reflects their personalities, but they won't let on what they are!
 The lads have a special routine, which they go through before a performance. First they gather round in a circle while somebody says a prayer. Then they say a quick Hail Mary, count to three in Irish and finally enter the stage.
 Were you standing next to a strange man in a woolly hat last time you saw Westlife in concert? Well lucky you if you were because it was probably Ronan! He sometimes hides in the audience at gigs to make notes on the lad’s performance and help suggest ways they could improve.
 Kian pierced his own ear when he was younger. "I did it with a pin and it really hurt!" he says.
 Before Westlife were famous, they used to play in small clubs that didn't have any dressing rooms so they sometimes ended up getting changed in the toilets!
 Shane never really relaxes on his holidays. "I rarely sit down and do nothing", he says. "I don't like lying there getting a tan. I prefer to be up and doing something".
 Mark never goes anywhere without his protective charm. "I've got a thing like two teabags on a string. It's called a Scapular. It's meant to protect you. I take it everywhere with me".
 Kian once had a very embarrassing kissing incident with a girl who was slightly crossed eyed. "We leaned into kiss each other but she missed and kissed the wall behind me!" he laughs.
 One night when Kian was on a camping trip, one of the girls went out for a walk and saw a banshee hovering over a tree. The next night she went out for another walk with some friends and saw it again. Kian and the rest of the campers didn't sleep very well for the rest of the trip and who can blame them!
 Shane's car is a silver BMW 3 series, which he bought when RCA paid the band for their record deal.
 When Westlife are on the road, they often have to request their lunches in advance. One rule must always be followed or else: Don't ever buy sandwiches that have mayonnaise in them for Nicky because he hates the stuff. His favorite sandwich filling is chicken and stuffing!
 When Bryan was younger, he ran away from home twice and even flushed his Mum's jewelry down the toilet!
 Bryan didn't go to bed until half three in the morning one night. He fell asleep in his clothes and then couldn't be bothered to change when he got up - which was only two hours later!
 It used to take Kian ages to get his hair sorted out in the mornings, but now it only takes about ten minutes. His technique is thanks to his hairdresser "who is a great teacher" and his hair product, Dax Wax.
 Nicky became a godfather this year. "My Mum's sister had a baby and she asked me to be the godfather which was really special."
 Shane reckons he's grown an inch in the past six months. "Nah!” scoffed Bryan; "You've shrunk an inch!” Shane helpfully pointed out that this was in fact because Bryan had grown two inches...
 Following in the footsteps of the Spice Girls and Boyzone, the Westlife lads are set to hit the silver screen in a movie all about their hectic crazy pop star life. A spokesperson for Westlife said that the lads have been approached about film offers and talks are well under way.
 Westlife once had some chocolate and a raw egg thrown on stage during an outdoor roadshow performance. Nicky picked up the chocolate and started eating it. When they had finished singing, Nicky said, "Whoever threw the chocolate, thank you very much indeed. It was beautiful". Then Bryan said, "And whoever threw the egg, do you think you could get some ham and cheese to go with it, please?”
 An over-excited fan in the Far East tore one of Kian's silver rings off his finger. "When you go to shake hands with the fans in the front row of one of our shows it's like putting your foot in a pond of piranhas!” joked Mark.
 Bryan is desperate to buy a Ferrari. "But the first thing I want to buy is a house on the outskirts of Dublin for my Mum and Dad", he confessed, "They deserve it".
 Shane's high point of the band's Australian tour was when the guys took a boat trip around Sydney harbor.
 Nicky doesn't like his new tattoo. He had an ornate eastern design tattooed onto the base of his back and it was pretty painful to have done. Apparently it really hurt when the needle pricked his spine area. Ouch!
 Westlife have a fitness instructor who sets them up with healthy eating plans, but when they are on the road, McDonalds is usually their only option!
 Bryan was so mad on Superman when he was a kid; he once jumped out of a tree because he thought he would be able to fly like him!

WESTLIFE

Formed in Dublin in 1998, Westlife followed in the tradition of European boy bands like Take That and Boyzone. The group performed ballads and club-worthy pop songs for a devoted European audience, becoming one of the continent's most successful bands in the process. Although they never managed to find American success, Westlife released six platinum-selling records in the U.K. and eventually sold more than 40 million albums worldwide, a feat that helped them eclipse the popularity of pop titans like Boyzone, whose lead singer had managed the band during its infancy.

Vocalists Shane Filan, Kian Egan, and Mark Feehily first performed together in another pop group, IOYOU, and experienced their first brush with success when Simon Cowell considered signing them to BMG. The group's other singers didn't make the cut, however, and a new round of auditions was launched to find more capable members. Nicky Byrne and Bryan McFadden were eventually added, the group was signed, and Westlife began prepping its debut album with the help of Louis Walsh, Boyzone's manager, and Boyzone member Ronan Keating. Their debut single, "Flying Without Wings," entered the U.K. charts at number one in 1999, a feat that Westlife replicated one year later with "Seasons in the Sun" and "Swear It Again." All three songs were also released on the group's self-titled debut, which was met with similar success and went platinum in the U.K. An American release followed in early 2000 courtesy of Arista Records.

Westlife never managed to make a dent in America’s pop scene, where national acts like the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, and Britney Spears reigned supreme. It was a different story in the U.K., though, where the group charted 14 number one singles and continued releasing hit albums. Both Coast to Coast and A World of Our Own went multi-platinum, and the group celebrated its success by releasing a hits compilation, Unbreakable, Vol. 1: The Greatest Hits, in 2002. Turnaround followed in 2003 and fared similarly well, but Bryan McFadden nevertheless left the lineup one later year in the hopes of launching his own career. “Real to Me,” his first single as a solo artist, topped the charts in 2004.

Westlife continued touring after McFadden’s exit and released Allow Us to Be Frank, a tribute to the Rat Pack, in late 2004. They returned to their contemporary pop formula with 2005’s Face to Face -- their biggest-selling album in three years -- and continued releasing material throughout the rest of the decade, including The Love Album, Back Home, and Where We Are.

DREW SEELEY part 2

Drew Seeley grew up in Toronto where he first fell in love with performing. At age 11, he was cast in Hal prince´s revival of Showboat and stayed with the production for a year. Two years later, he got his first guitar, began writing songs and hasen´t looked back since.

In 2005 Drew started working with established producer Ray Cham and together they wrote "Getcha head in the game" for Disney´s quadruple platinum High School Musical Soundtrack. This garnered them an Emmey nomination in the "Best Original Song and Lyrics" category. In addition, Drew co-starred in the North American and Latin American tours of "High School Musical: The Concert" playing in 60,000 seat arenas. Drew´s Song and Video "Dance with me", from the platinum Cheetah Girls 2 Soundtrack, can be seen on the Disney Channel and he also appeared in Belinda Poregrin´s music video "Ni Freud, Ni Tu Mama".

He wrote and performed music for the Disney Channel Original Movie "Jump In!" starring Corbin Bleu, and his spin on America´s "Magic" was released this summer on the "Wizard of Waverly Place" soundtrack. Drew also made a quest appearance on the current Chipmunks CD "Undeniable" singing "Shake your groove thing" with Alvin and the gang. He has recently been on a national Tour performing his own original music and is recording his forthcoming debut album.

Drew´s acting career included quest starring roles on One Tree Hill, Dawson´s Creek, Guiding Light, and most recently, Warner Premiere´s Another Cinderella Story in which he stars as pop star Joey Parker opposite Selena Gomez. Drew also  co-wrote and performs 4 songs in the film. One of these songs, New Classic, enjoyed a slot on Radio Disney´s Top 10 countdown for 2 months, and the music video has surpassed 2 million views on YouTube.

Earlier this year, Drew starred alongside 30 Rock´s Katrina Bowden in the Adam Sandler produced film, "The Shortcut", and reunited with HSM alum Lucas Grabeel for the rock musical ITunes webseries, "I kissed a Vampire". Another 6 episodes of IKAV are set to be released this spring.


Most recently, Drew portrayed  the title character in the Hallmark Channel Original Movie, "Freshman Father". The film, which is based on a true story, will also include new music from Drew and will be released on June 5th, 2010.

Drew filmed in march TBS pilot, "Glory Daze", playing an aspiring politican named Jason.

Drew resides in sunny Los Angeles and spends as much time at the beach as possible.

now i'm gonna talk about ADA Band

ADA Band adalah sebuah grup musik asal Indonesia, beranggotakan Donnie Sibarani (vokalis), Marshal Suryarachman (gitaris) dan Dika Satjadibrata (bassis). Mereka melejit melalui lagu-lagu seperti Masih, Langit Tujuh Bidadari, dan Karena Wanita (Ingin Dimengerti). Kebanyakan lagu mereka bertema cinta.

• Ada Band terbentuk pada tahun 1996, dengan anggota Ibrahim Imran (Baim) pada gitar & vokal, Iso Eddy H (Iso) pada keyboard & backing vocal, Elif Ritonga (E'el) pada drum, dan Khrisna Balagita (Khrisna) pada keyboard/piano. Pada tahun 1997, ADA Band merilis album pertama dengan judul "Seharusnya". Lagu "Seharusnya" menjadi andalan dalam album perdana mereka.
• Mereka merilis album kedua, setelah vakum selama 2,5 tahun, berjudul "PerADAban 2000" di bulan Juli 1999. Lagu di album ini antara lain lagu “Oughh...!!!”, “Bilakah?”, dan “Tinggalkanlah Cinta”. Setelah album kedua, Iso dan E'el hengkang dari ADA Band.
• Rama Yaya Muktio kemudian bergabung sebagai drumer menggantikan E'el. Mereka merilis album ketiga di bulan Maret 2001 berjudul "Tiara". Lagu yang terdapat dalam album ini antara lain “Tiara”, “1000 Bayang”, “Salahkah?”, dan “Belenggu & Cinta”. Bulan Desember 2001, Baim menyusul Iso dan E'el hengkang dari ADA Band.
• Setelah dua tahun vakum, awal tahun 2003, ADA Band kembali menggebrak dengan formasi Khrisna Balagita pada keyboard/piano, Dika Satjadibrata pada bass & backing vocal, Rama Yaya Muktio pada drum, Marshall Suryarachman pada gitar, Donnie Sibarani pada vokal. Dengan formasi ini, ADA Band merilis album "Metamorphosis", dengan lagu unggulan antara lain “Masih (Sahabatku Kekasihku)”, “Seberkas Kisah Lalu”, & “Manja”. ADA Band juga mendapat pengakuan atas kebangkitan mereka dengan muncul diberbagai ajang penghargaan musik, di antaranya dinominasikan dalam Anugerah Musik Indonesia (AMI) 2003 (dalam 4 kategori) sampai dengan Clear Top 10 Awards 2003 (dalam 3 kategori). Selain formasi baru, album ini juga berada di bawah label yang baru yaitu EMI Music Indonesia.
• Untuk penutup tahun 2003, ADA Band mengumpulkan semua album ADA Band yang lama dalam sebuah album bertajuk The Best Of ADA Band – Discography. Album ini berisikan lagu-lagu yang membawa ADA Band menjadi terkenal seperti saat ini.12 (dua belas) lagu menghiasi album ini, termasuk 2 (dua) lagu romantis khas ADA Band.
• Awal 2004, Rama terkena musibah, mobilnya menabrak dan dirinya luka parah. Kondisi tubuhnya yang tidak memungkinkan, akhirnya membuat Rama juga harus hengkang dari ADA Band. Sepeninggal Rama, ADA Band terpaksa berjalan walau hanya dengan 4 personel. Dibantu beberapa Additional Musicians, pada 2005 ADA Band merilis "Heaven of Love", dan "Romantic Rhapsody" pada awal 2006, serta "Cinema Story" pada pertengahan 2007.
• Dalam album "Heaven of Love" terdapat 12 lagu baru. Donny berduet dengan Gita Gutawa, putri musisi Erwin Gutawa dalam lagu "Yang Terbaik Bagimu". Sedangkan lagu "Manusia Bodoh" terpilih menjadi single pertama album ini. Video klip "Manusia Bodoh" telah digarap dengan apik oleh Eugine Panji dibawah bendera Human Plus Production. Heaven of Love berhasil mencatat angka penjualan lebih dari 300 ribu kopi dalam waktu lima bulan. Dan mereka berhasil mendapat penghargaan double platinum. Enam bulan kemudian, mereka mendapat penghargaan Quadruple Award atau penghargaan karena mendapat 4x Paltinum (di Indonesia, setiap 150 ribu kaset yang terjual akan mendapat platinum). ADA Band mendapat penghargaan tersebut karena berhasil meraih penjualan 600 ribu kopi.
• Album "Romantic Rhapsody" berisi 12 lagu yang masih bertemakan cinta. Album ini didukung penuh oleh PT. Softex Indonesia bekerja sama promosi dengan EMI Music Indonesia. Single “Karena Wanita (Ingin Dimengerti)” menampilkan 3 dari belia Disa Oriana, Sabrina Salsabilah dan Kartika Indah Pelapory, para bintang muda film D’Girlz Begins garapan Tengku Firmansyah. Single “Jalan Cahaya” featuring Ubiet bernuansa religius namun tetap menampilkan beat cantik ala ADA Band.
• Di album "Cinema Story", Ada Band menyuguhkan 12 lagu, 6 di antaranya merupakan lagu terbaru mereka yang dibuat berdasarkan skrip skenario dari film terbaru Multivision Pictures(MVP) yang berjudul “Selamanya”. Lagu 'Nyawa Hidupku' dan 'Akal Sehat' dijadikan single andalan mereka di album ini.
• Album 2008 berjudul "Harmonius". Berisi 11 lagu baru dengan hits single "Baiknya". Tapi pada album terbaru ini, lagi-lagi Ada Band harus kehilangan satu personil lagi yaitu Khrisna Balagita. Walaupun Ada Band tetap menyajikan lagu-lagu romantis, rasanya masih ada yang kurang sepeninggal Khrisna dari Ada Band.
• Album terbaru Ada Band di tahun 2009 ini berjudul "Mystery of Musical". Berisi 7 lagu baru dan 5 lagu yang diambil dari album "Cinema Story" dan "Harmonious". Dengan single PEMUJAMU. Meskipun cuma bertiga, band ini masih mampu menghadirkan musik yang bertema cinta dengan genre yang berbeda dari album-album sebelumnya.

today i'm gonna talk about OLIVER JAMES...

Oliver James (born Oliver James Hudson;^[1] 1 June 1980) is an English musician, singer, songwriter and actor. He is best known for his roles in the American films What a Girl Wants and Raise Your Voice.

Oliver's first screen appearance was a supporting role in the 2002 Made-for-Television short film School's Out as Dean. He appeared in the BBC television series The Afternoon Play in the episode Girls' Weekend.

In 2002, he was cast as the role of Ian Wallace in the teen romantic comedy What a Girl Wants. The film starred Amanda Bynes, Kelly Preston and Colin Firth and was directed by Denise Gordon. The film was released on 4 April 2003 to a mixed critical reception from critics. The film had moderate box office success earning worldwide a total of $50,732,139. He was the only actor to kiss Amanda Bynes in the screen test.

In 2004, Oliver was cast to portray the role of Jay Corgan in New Line Cinema's musical drama film Raise Your Voice. The film which was directed by Sean McNamara starred Hilary Duffand David Keith. The film was released 8 October 2004. The film received negative reviews from critics and was a box office bomb earning worldwide $10,411,980.

In 2006, Oliver signed on for the BBC drama television series The Innocence Project portraying the role of Nick Benitz. The eight episode first season received negative reviews from critics. Ratings were very poor and the BBC chose to pull the series midway through season one. A second season was not renewed.

In 2009, he portrayed the role of Ben in Paramount Home Entertainment's Without a Paddle: Nature's Calling. The film is a sequel to the 2004 film Without a Paddle. The film was released straight-to-DVD on January 13, 2009 to negative reviews.

Shortly after appearing in The Afternoon Play Oliver joined a boy band produced by Simon Fuller. He quit the band as soon as he was cast in What A Girl Wants. For What A Girl Wantshe learned to play the guitar and sang the songs Long Time Coming  and Greatest Story Ever Told which both appeared on the films soundtrack. He played the acoustic guitar in Raise Your Voice.
